Name: Olivestep
Age: 37 moons
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Deputy
Gender: Female
Appearence:
The different array of colors in Olivestep's pelt seem to blend beautifully together. White, light brown, black, and grey flow randomly from her cheek to her tail tip. Her fur is incredibly fluffy, sometimes to the point where it's uncontrollable. Her face, oddly, is the only place on her body without tufts of soft, bouncy fur sticking up in different directions. Her underbelly, tail, and fur around the eyes is where the most light brown is. Her body is mostly light grey and white, with the exception of her black and light brown striped tail. Olivestep's tail is incredibly bushy; she spends every morning washing it throughly so the fur won't stick up and look like a porcupine's tail instead of a cat's. Striking emerald is how her oval shaped eyes are described, with flecks of a very light brown slightly visible. Her voice is high-pitched, said to be girly by many.

Personality:
This she-cat has a rather peculiar personality, consisting of a variety of traits. She can range from caring and gentle to dark and mysterious. Of course, her two different sides depend on what mood she is in and her surroundings.
Olivestep's "good" side consists of her gentle being with her Clanmates. From the youngest kit to the oldest elder, she believes her Clan deserves the best treatment. Although, she is aware of the remaining Clans and their strengths; her bias tends to lean towards her own Clan when it comes to power and authority. Olivestep is very open to helping out Clanmates in any way she is capable of. Even if she doesn't have a direct solution, Olivestep will try to make the cat in dilemma feel better with comforting words and a pat on the back. This "part" of Olivestep usually arrives in sunny surroundings (good weather) and if her Clan is healthy and well.
Now you've seen one part of her, what about the other half? Usually when it is rainy, stormy, or if she doesn't like the situation she's in, Olivestep's gloomy side will appear. She can be very mysterious to others; in many cases most cats don't have a clue what's racing through her head. This is the reason for her "poker face". It's quite famous for her, this blank expression that reveals nothing to cats near her.
Olivestep's Clan is indescribably valuable to her. Her loyalty always comes first, especially in life or death situations. She is also a devoted fan to sarcasm, her favorite sense of humor. She uses it daily, in a dry sense that sometimes confuses other felines. Her major flaw is her trust. She rarely puts all her faith into one cat; and a cat has to work their tail off to earn even the slightest bit of trust from this she-cat.

History
A dark cave filled with piles of rocks and shielded by a veil of moss was the birthplace of Olivestep. Born in the dead of leaf-bare, ice crystals hung beautifully above her so that the cave was illuminated by their shine. Yes, Olivestep was born a loner not too far from the Clan territories. Her parents, Bumble and Stripe, told her countless tales of these strange forest dwellers. Olivestep was fascinated by their way of life; meeting together every moon and living under a leader.
Bumble and Stripe had a close relationship with their daughter. To Olivestep they were kind and gentle; and Olivestep trusted them with her life. Her foolish mind believed nothing harmful would happen to her, only if her parents were right there by her side. A crisp morning day approached her family, signaling to Olivestep her life was about to change dramatically. Stripe announced that the three of them were going to take a "family walk". It started off as that, Bumble made small talk with the young Olivestep. What Olivestep didn't know was that her own mother was distracting her from realizing where they were. The Clan territories; specifically the RiverClan camp.
Bumble and Stripe spoke with the leader for a small amount of time and vanished without a trace, or a goodbye. Olivestep then realized her parents had just abandoned her; dumped her in an unfamiliar place. Luckily, RiverClan adopted her with welcoming faces. Olivestep was announced apprentice and trained her hardest to become a warrior.
Apprenticeship was a bore for her. She had a regular mentor; wise and gentle. The young Olivestep was eager to learn and eager to please her new family. In a matter of time she made friends and developed a keener sense of smell to survive in the wild. Her warrior ceremony is a bittersweet memory for her; proud of accomplishing her training, yet sad of not having her parents there to cheer her on.
Her horrid past influences her current personality. She learned to be kind and gentle from her Clan. Her parents, when they left her, helped her develop a dark side so that no cat will have the bravery to poke into her past.

Role Play Example;
The soothing chirping of nearby birds and the gentle rustle of the leaves by oncoming wind awoke many of her Clanmates, but not Olivestep. The she-cat was already up and running by the time the sun rose. It was a tragic time for RiverClan; their leader Sparklestar was sick. Even worse, from an unknown disease that even the wisest medicine cat could not crack. Every cat knew their beloved leader was going to lose her seventh life, and only in a matter of days. After this, Sparklestar would be weak with her last life hanging on her shoulders and Olivestep knew her Clanmates would turn to her for instructions. They would have to put their faith in her knowledge, and soon she would be the one yowling the battle calls and addressing the Clan meetings.
The thought frightened her slightly. What if she just wasn't wise enough to lead an entire Clan? Olivestep shook the annoying thought away, her ice blue eyes blinking with worry as she trotted up to the leader's den. The pebbles under her feet seemed to be mocking her each step of the way, and even though she knew it was just a figment of her imagination, Olivestep was peeved just a bit.
She poked her light head around the corner of the den. This was a good habit for Sparklestar to have; she always said that her den was everyone's den. She always had time for her Clanmates and never denied them of help. "Sparklestar?" Her high voice called, echoing oddly in the small den. Sunshine poured into it, bouncing off the walls and glowing off the leader's fur until it was glossy. The leader opened her almost lifeless eyes and weakly lifted her head. "Ah, Olivestep. Nice to see you." Her coarse voice was tough and cracked frequently.
"How are you doing Sparklestar?" Olivestep murmured as she slowly padded in, her green orbs skimming over Sparklestar's clearly visible ribs, her matted fur which twigs hung from and dirt clung to, and her many battle scars that revealed her bravery in fights. Sparklestar blinked once and didn't reply for a while. Almost as if she were gaining the energy to talk. "Eh, I'm fine. I'm not afriad of joining StarClan, Olivestep. Maybe I'll see your parents again! They're were nice cats, yes very nice." A silent jab pierced Olivestep's heart, and she flinched inwardly. She had never spoke of Bumble nor Stripe since the day she came to RiverClan. She knew Sparklestar was tired and most likely didn't have a clue what she was saying, so Olivestep pushed the thought away.
"Sparklestar, remember you have another life left after... well after this one. Don't give up yet." Olivestep mewed comfortingly, raising her voice an octave so the older she-cat could hear her. Sparklestar widened her eyes and nodded, her small head bobbing up and down. "Oh, okay." She began to yawn and talk at the same time. Olivestep leaned in closer as an attempt to understand her words. Thankfully, the leader repeated herself. "I think I'm tired. I'll go to sleep now. Have a good day Olivestep." She whispered, and lay her fragile head on her skinny paws. Olivestep nodded, chocking back a tear or two, and turned on her paws to pad back outside.
The deputy embraced the fresh air gleefully, such a drastic change from Sparklestar's den which reeked of sickness. She felt in the need of hunting, so she quickly trotted out of the camp after making sure one of the senior warriors was in charge. She didn't bother to assemble a patrol; she needed to be alone and wrap her mind around Sparklstar's sickness. The she-cat was overjoyed to discover today was a fantastic hunting day; her solo patrol returned with two fish and a squirrel. She strutted back into camp proudly, ready to show off her catch. Her shocked eyes paused on Sparklestar's den where a crowd of cats, almost the whole Clan, had crowded. "Oh no." She murmured through the scaly texture of her fish, and immediately dropped her prey. "Get out of the way!" She hissed, dashing through the crowd. Olivestep skidded to a stop once she reached Redshell, the medicine cat. The crowd behind her was eerily silent, and Olivestep turned towards Redshell. "Did she.."
"I'm afraid so." The orange tabby medicine cat muttered, dipping his head. Olivestep froze, letting out a short wail of grief. First her parents... now the beloved Sparklestar? The multucolored she-cat bowed her head in grief, emerald green eyes fixed on the soft dirt beneath her.
