Borkeneyes dropped low, he gazed around his twisted green eyes slightly angered as he looked around for more prey, he stayed along the trees looking for something to eat. He glanced down at a plump mouse that was running around looking for food itself. Brokeneyes smirked he leapt out and slashed at it, it died swiftly and her took a large bite out of it. Brokeneyes buried the remains and then looking around againf ro something else.

Jade eyes watched through the bushes as Brokeneyes caught a mouse. She slipped out of the bush, being careful to let her fur snag. "Nice catch" she mewed, a smile on her face. Maybe I can get to him a bit more today she thought to herself. First she'd deal with his problem and then with the issue of her having a crush on him.

Brokeneyes looked over at her with his twisted green eyes, "Oh it's you" He meowed, he looked back at the buried remains, "Thanks" he snorted. Brokeneyes turned back ahead focusing his atttention towards a sparrow in the tree.

"So you having fun hunting?" she asked. Tigerlily found small talk often broke the ice for the harder questions. She noticed his attention was elsewhere and followed his gaze. She noticed the sparrow in the tree, she tought about going for it and decided against it. It wouldn't do her any good to steal his catch.

Brokeneyes looked at her, he nodded, "You could say that" he said, he didn't know why she always talked with him, but at least he had someone to talk with even if he still didn't trust her much, he hardly trusted anyone. He looked back at the tree his twisted green eyes locked onto the sparrow he moved towards it swiftly, his larger body was powerful so it made it easy to jump to higher places. He jumped up swiftly and knocked it out of the tree, it was killed the moment it hit in the ground. Brokeneyes jumped back down, "Just like old times" he smirked.

Tigerlily watched as he lept at the tree and knocked the sparrow off. It was a different technique. "Wow, great catch" she mewed. "So how are you?" she asked. She noted he seemed to be in one of his better moods. Hopefully he'll be more open too she thought to herself.

Brokeneyes turned and looked at her, his twisted green eyes were more calmer, "Good" he muttered, "Yourself" he asked, he felt he might as well get to know the other clan members eventually, he only knew Emberpaw, he was okay with Emberpaw because she listened to him, but she was a little to perky which in his mind was a downfall, but at least she worked well and did everything he told her to. Tigerlily on the other hand was her own cat, he glanced over at her waiting for her answer.

"I'm good" Tigerlily replied with a smile. "So do you wanna go for a walk?" she asked. She thought maybe it would be easier to get him to talk if they were walking instead of sitting and looking at each other.

Brokeneyes looked at her questioningly after a while of staring he sighed and nodded, "Alright" he meowed, he didn't think he could get away with saying no, she seemed deteremined, he got up his thin tail flicked from side to side, his ears perked high and his twisted eyes stared ahead, "Let's go then" he said walking foreward.

Tigerlily smiled and padded after him. Her large paws meeting the pine needles with a soft crunch. "So..." she said, unsure of what to say now. "How's training going?" she asked. Not the best question she thought but it's something.

Brokeneyes glanced at her as she asked questions, his own large paws crushing everything he stepped, his tail flicked back an forth, "Good" he said, "Emberpaw is getting better" he added, "What about you?" he questioned, weither she took as if she had an apprentice to train or her own training was her choice.

"Thats good" she mewed. She remembered her few conversations she had with the apprentice, she always seemed to look and feel out of place. "I know she has a rough time here" she said.
"I haven't taken on an apprentice yet" she mewed. "But I wouldn't mind having one soon" she added.

Brokeneyes nodded, " I see" he said, "I hope you get one soon" he said not thinking of anything else to say is ears folded back, his eyes saddened slightly as he thought of her, and how much she wanted an apprentice too, she loved being able to teach younger cats about how to run things, he let out a soft sigh.

"Thanks" she said with a smile. She turned her jade eyes and noticed how his form radiated sadness. She let the smile fall from her lips. "Are you alright?" she asked, laying her tail on his back in a comforting gesture.

Brokeneyes flinched as her tail touched his back, he looked at her and saw her smile, "Nothing" He told Tigerlily quietly, he looked at her his twisted green eyes were sad and then flashed anger, "it's nothing" he assured her and himself.
