The gentle flow of the nearby streams calmed Olivestep from where the multicolored she-cat rest on a sunning rock. The continuos lapping of water was beginning to make her tired, her eyelids fluttering closer to sleep. She opened her emerald green orbs wide, and sat up to avoid dozing off. An oncoming wind cloud buffeted her fluffy fur and rattled the tree branches above. Solid green leaves floated down, landing beside her in a circle. Olivestep glanced down at her fur and groaned, beginning to smooth it down with multiple licks of her light pink tongue. She sighed with boredom, her eyes skimming over the camp. Most cats were crowding near the fresh-kill pile, peering at the various prey in deep concentration. Almost as if this were the most important decision they'll ever make. Olivestep snorted quietly, amused at this thought. Oh, what to do. What to do..

Sighing, the Riverclan leader watched his clan, unsure of what to do. There wasn't many cats he could talk to, only the younger cats accepted him. That's because they didn't know of his past though. Life was just so unfair sometimes. Splashstar would go talk to Waspsnest, but he didn't know where the medicine cat was. And right now, he didn't want to go look. His paws ached from patrolling earlier that morning, and all he wanted to do was to rest. And talk to someone. The tom looked around, until he saw his deputy, Olivestep, stretching out on some rocks. He would go talk to her.
Splashstar got up, and padded towards the she-cat. He saw her looking over at the fresh-kill pile, laughing at her own little joke. "Hey Olivestep, what's so funny?" the tabby mewed, smiling. Just because he was leader didn't mean he had to act all professinal all the time. Ivystorm would have wanted him to have a little bit of fun.

The she-cat practically fell off the rock she was lounging on when a familiar voice approached from behind. She twisted her multicolored head, her emerald green eyes stopping on her leader. "Great StarClan Splashstar, you startled me." She murmured, attempting to smooth down her bushy tail fur with a paw. She blinked at him, and glanced at the fresh-kill pile with a playful smile. "This Clan cracks me up. Watch how everyone stares in total concentration at one mouse. Then their eyes kind of glaze over." She paused to stifle a chuckle that was rising in her throat. Olivestep looked to Splashstar, warm laughter glowing in her eyes.

The medi cat was flat out bored. There was nothing to do, no one around to talk to, he couldn't sleep. He was in the mind set to swim. His milky eyes scanned through the dim shadows as he walked on his way, his deep russet pelt swaying in the light breeze. It carried the scent of two fimilar cats with it. Splashstar and Olivestep. He knew Splashstar more than Olivestep, but, any cat who he could talk to would do. He just wanted the boredom that plagued him to pass. So, he shifted his direction and scented the wind as he walked, attempting to "stumble" upon his clan mates. It really did not take him all that long to find them, mainly because they wern't the whispering type. Hello, how is everyone today? the russet medi questioned as he pulled into the light. He realized how akward the question sounded. He chuckled to himself.

The fluffy she-cat chuckled once more at her Clanmates and bent down to lick a paw. The soft pattering of oncoming paws alerted her, and she raised her head to see Waspnest trotting towards them. "Greetings Waspnest, I'm doing alright. How about you?" She murmured, sitting up so she could be heard more clearly. Her pink tongue rasped over her dark fur, making an effort to smooth it down.
